Puglia Bridal Editorial - Day 1

What seems like a thousand years ago now, I headed over to Puglia, Italy with a team of some of my favourite wedding suppliers for 3 days of dreamy, bridal editorial shoots. I am so excited to share with you images from day 1 of our adventure. We were so lucky to stay at a gorgeous villa hosted by Anna from Trulli & Dimore which turned out to be the perfect backdrop for our first day of shooting. Olive trees, lemon groves, pink bougainvillea climbing the walls and even a private chapel on site - we were spoilt for choice.

Daisy from Fairytale Weddings brought along seven of the most fabulous dresses, from Hayley Paige, Eliza Jane Howell and Charlie Brear as well as accessories by Miss Clemmie. Our aim was to encapsulate a modern, destination elopement, modest and maximal, simplistic yet luxe, all at once.

With hand made stationery by the amazing Laura Mazzetti and breathtaking florals by the man with the reputation as the best florist in the region, Michele Zaurino - every detail was planned to perfection. Tracey from Lusso Events was a god send, organising all aspects from the Italian side of things and helping us Brits to communicate in the process. Originally from England, Tracey is based in Venice but organised weddings all over Italy.

The most marvellous Jo Tromans was on make up AND hair for the full three days - this girl is a MUA machine and dazzled us all with her multi tasking skills. For Day 1 we had the magnetic Iris Natale modelling and boy, was she a dream to shoot!

In between shooting we really lived La Dolce Vita, we ate pasta (cooked from scratch by Michele himself and I still find myself dreaming of it now and then), we laughed, we sampled the local vino and, most importantly we made great memories alongside some gorgeous images. It’s easy when you’re with the dream team, no!?

Thanks to all the awesome creatives that made this shoot happen and to You and Your Wedding for featuring the images in their August/September issue. Watch out for day 2 & 3 getting published very soon! Tara xx

Published | Love My Dress | 2016

What a fabulous start to 2016 - our dark and glamorous winter shoot has been published not only in print but on the grandest wedding blog of them all, Love My Dress . Our friends at Image magazine dedicated a mighty 6 pages to two contrasting styled shoots and the editorial was also picked up by a newspaper.

It's always a great feeling to see your hard work and vision in print and we have so much more to come this year. With weddings in Ireland, the mountains of Morocco and Italy, I have a feeling 2016 is going to take some beating.

Whilst we're out of wedding season, myself and some of my friends in the industry are making good use of our time and have some fabulous stuff lined up that I cannot wait to share with you! Follow me on Facebook or Instagram to keep up to date with everything at TF HQ...

I am super excited to say that today one this shoot is being featured in the most awesome of wedding blogs, Love My Dress! We had an amazing team for this - big thanks to everyone involved who made it happen. Ode To September

Unbelievably it's the end of September so before we step over to October I thought I'd give you a catch up on what I've been up to.

As this years wedding season slows down it means I have more time to work on some new, awesome styled shoots. I LOVE these things - the team that get together for them are some of the best wedding suppliers in Northamptonshire and we always have such a blast when we're together. It also means we can all get super creative and try out new styles and looks out.

Earlier this month, one of our recent shoots, The Secret Garden, was featured on one of my favourite blogs, So You're Getting Married. Thanks to Phoebe from SYGM for featuring this one, it's always great to see you're work published and appreciated by others in the industry. We were lucky to work with the most gorgeous Sophie Gibson, model extraordinaire as well as some names you'll recognise from previous shoots. The look was ethereal bride and was shot in, wait for it,  a secret garden and some beautiful woodland in the Northamptonshire countryside.

You can see the full feature on SYGM here. Ooh and now I have a lovely badge to feature on my website too!

I also ventured down to Hatfield Woods with the likes of Rosie Hardy, for a Fairytale inspired shoot. Hatfield Woods is an amazing place just outside of London and is a photographer's dream. The full post will be coming soon on this one but for now here are a couple of sneak peeks from the day...

Bloomin' Brides - Front Cover For Image Magazine

Wow - what a month May has been! I've been lucky enough to meet lots of couples tying the knot in 2015, luckily avoided all the rain during some pre wedding shoots, shot a high end fashion shoot and saw one of my photos on the front page of a magazine for the first time. Myself and some brilliant local wedding suppliers got together for a floral inspired summer shoot and the results were amazing. The image that made it to the front page is a particular favourite of mine - every girls dream right? The dress is Cuvèe Rosè from Ian Stuart's 2014 collection and the model is the gorgeous Libby from the classical crossover group Eden. I hope you love it as much as I do!
