Spring Bloom | Tara Florence & Joanne Tromans

With May just a few days away and a third of the year already passed, what better time for me to update the blog...

With the 2016 wedding season just around the corner, I'm fitting in some creative editorials before everything steps up a gear. Last week I got together with the uber talented MUA Joanne Tromans to create and capture some on trend looks on the gorgeous Sophie Gibson.

Jo is always keen to keep her finger on current trends and during this shoot she brought to life a couple of looks that were popular on the S/S '16 catwalks. One of the looks that was seen a lot was the sun-kissed complexion teamed with a fierce blue eye. Only for the brave? Well, Jo successfully scaled the look back to achieve a striking but wearable look, perfect for that week in Santorini...

Jo paired Urban Decay liner in Electric Blue with the UD eyeshadow in Shattered. Teamed with a high gloss peachy pink lip, this look has us willing on the sunshine so we can get experimenting with some bright shades.

This shoot will be featured in the June issue of Image magazine so grab a copy and get ready for a floral overload. We have incorporated beautiful cherry blossom, magnolia and some gorgeous ferns.

We were lucky enough to find some fantastic a huge bush which had bloomed with the most beautiful white flowers (florists - please comment below if you know what they are!). Although we were shooting in the Northamptonshire countryside, Sophie is emulating some serious Californian Cool with laid back hair and make up - take us to Coachella!

To see more of Jo's work pop over to her website here and don't forget to grab June's Image magazine for much more from this shoot. It's guaranteed to be a floral frenzy...

Published | Love My Dress | 2016

What a fabulous start to 2016 - our dark and glamorous winter shoot has been published not only in print but on the grandest wedding blog of them all, Love My Dress . Our friends at Image magazine dedicated a mighty 6 pages to two contrasting styled shoots and the editorial was also picked up by a newspaper.

It's always a great feeling to see your hard work and vision in print and we have so much more to come this year. With weddings in Ireland, the mountains of Morocco and Italy, I have a feeling 2016 is going to take some beating.

Whilst we're out of wedding season, myself and some of my friends in the industry are making good use of our time and have some fabulous stuff lined up that I cannot wait to share with you! Follow me on Facebook or Instagram to keep up to date with everything at TF HQ...

Winter Bridal Styled Shoot | Belle and Bunty

Everyone knows I love a styled shoot. Getting together with a team of creative wedding suppliers is always so much fun. Here's a secret though - I think the last one of 2015 is my favourite ever. Thanks to the lovely ladies at Fairytale Weddings we were lucky enough to get our paws on the the beautiful 2016 bridal separates by Belle & Bunty and oh - how we love them.... My personal favourites from the range are the Pearl Cami teamed with the Belle skirt - stylish simplicity in elegant ivory satin.

Clementine of Miss Clemmie Bridal Accessories was responsible for styling the shoot, designing the beautiful stationery and, of course, providing the most intricate, gorgeous adornments.

We styled diamond bands from Bijoux Jewels with antique accessories and winter hydrangeas.

Ode To September

Unbelievably it's the end of September so before we step over to October I thought I'd give you a catch up on what I've been up to.

As this years wedding season slows down it means I have more time to work on some new, awesome styled shoots. I LOVE these things - the team that get together for them are some of the best wedding suppliers in Northamptonshire and we always have such a blast when we're together. It also means we can all get super creative and try out new styles and looks out.

Earlier this month, one of our recent shoots, The Secret Garden, was featured on one of my favourite blogs, So You're Getting Married. Thanks to Phoebe from SYGM for featuring this one, it's always great to see you're work published and appreciated by others in the industry. We were lucky to work with the most gorgeous Sophie Gibson, model extraordinaire as well as some names you'll recognise from previous shoots. The look was ethereal bride and was shot in, wait for it,  a secret garden and some beautiful woodland in the Northamptonshire countryside.

You can see the full feature on SYGM here. Ooh and now I have a lovely badge to feature on my website too!

I also ventured down to Hatfield Woods with the likes of Rosie Hardy, for a Fairytale inspired shoot. Hatfield Woods is an amazing place just outside of London and is a photographer's dream. The full post will be coming soon on this one but for now here are a couple of sneak peeks from the day...
