It’s incredible that a whole year has passed since Jo & Dylan’s beautiful wedding at Holdenby House in the Northamptonshire countryside. I felt today would be a perfect day to share some photography from the day and a few images that weren’t seen in the Hello! magazine feature.

What seems like a thousand years ago now, I headed over to Puglia, Italy with a team of some of my favourite wedding suppliers for 3 days of dreamy, bridal editorial shoots. I am so excited to share with you images from day 1 of our adventure. We were so lucky to stay at a gorgeous villa hosted by Anna from Trulli & Dimore which turned out to be the perfect backdrop for our first day of shooting. Olive trees, lemon groves, pink bougainvillea climbing the walls and even a private chapel on site - we were spoilt for choice.
Daisy from Fairytale Weddings brought along seven of the most fabulous dresses, from Hayley Paige, Eliza Jane Howell and Charlie Brear as well as accessories by Miss Clemmie. Our aim was to encapsulate a modern, destination elopement, modest and maximal, simplistic yet luxe, all at once.
With hand made stationery by the amazing Laura Mazzetti and breathtaking florals by the man with the reputation as the best florist in the region, Michele Zaurino - every detail was planned to perfection. Tracey from Lusso Events was a god send, organising all aspects from the Italian side of things and helping us Brits to communicate in the process. Originally from England, Tracey is based in Venice but organised weddings all over Italy.
The most marvellous Jo Tromans was on make up AND hair for the full three days - this girl is a MUA machine and dazzled us all with her multi tasking skills. For Day 1 we had the magnetic Iris Natale modelling and boy, was she a dream to shoot!
In between shooting we really lived La Dolce Vita, we ate pasta (cooked from scratch by Michele himself and I still find myself dreaming of it now and then), we laughed, we sampled the local vino and, most importantly we made great memories alongside some gorgeous images. It’s easy when you’re with the dream team, no!?
Thanks to all the awesome creatives that made this shoot happen and to You and Your Wedding for featuring the images in their August/September issue. Watch out for day 2 & 3 getting published very soon! Tara xx

Celebrity Wedding Featured in Hello! Magazine - Joanne Tromans & Dylan Hartley
Forget Harry & Meghan, I was lucky enough to photograph THE wedding of 2018 and it has been featured in Hello! magazine!
England Rugby captain, Dylan Hartley married his sweetheart Joanne Tromans and I was the privileged one that got to document the day. At the beautiful Holdenby House in the Northamptonshire countryside, surrounded by friends and family, the day was practically perfect in every way.
Joanne looked stunning in Suzanne Neville whilst Dylan wore his bespoke Church's shoes, made in Northamptonshire.
The wedding was shot on the Nikon d850 which I've been using for the last couple of months and is a photographers DREAM! More on that to come...
I will be featuring more images on the blog from this gorgeous day soon so keep and eye out and head over to my instagram here for a couple of sneak peeks. The article is out in this weeks' Hello! magazine so be sure to grab a copy for an exclusive look at The Hartley wedding.

Bridal Babe X Barbarella - Alternative Bridal Editorial
The first few months of the year are a quiet time for those of us in the wedding industry. There's definitely somewhat of a lull. Your creativity takes a back seat, then all of a sudden - boom - you get the urge to create something again. I count my blessings that over the years I've accumulated a great tribe of girls (and guys!) that are in the same boat and we love to collaborate together. So one snowy day in March, me and a few of my wedding friends got together to do something a lil' bit different.
Daisy from Fairytale Weddings chose some awesome dresses from Charlie Brear and Eliza Jane Howell which we styled with a show-stopper of a headpiece by Headspace Headdresses and some pretty pink fluff. When we collaborate like this we usually put a Pinterest board together beforehand so everyone involved is on the same page regarding the look and vibe. I nonchalantly pinned an image of a flower wall and the awesome Steph from Me and My Bloomers brought it to life before our eyes. Most of Steph's creations are made with home grown flowers from her garden in Northamptonshire, she has a brilliant for mixing flora and fauna and teamed thistles with carnations, eucalyptus and roses. Love, love, LOVE!
On make-up the uber-cool Jo Tromans worked her magic on our model Emily while Jo Taylor Bates on hair pulled off the super slick 90's space babe look we were going for (no easy task!). Hi-shine and maximum gloss were the order of the day - not your traditional bridal look...
Elizabeth from Lilibet Bakes doesn't just bake the tastiest cakes on the planet, she is also a genius when it comes to creating the most realistic flowers from sugar and wafer (take a peek at her website to see what I mean!). She made a beautiful 3 tier wedding cake with row upon row of tiny, wafer flowers, perfectly complimenting our flower wall. What's more, she didn't even know we were having a flower wall. Great minds!
Have a scroll down for some eye candy and also a short editorial film I made with a little bit of footage I grabbed...

Ali & Ian | Marrakesh
One of my highlights from 2016 was being lucky enough to photograph Alison & Ian's breathtaking nuptials in Marrakesh, Morocco. Two beautiful people, inside and out, in one of the most heavenly places on the planet. Veering away from conventional wedding rules, Alison looked amazing in her rose quartz Alexander Mcqueen dress which was the perfect compliment to Ian's serenity blue suit (also Mcqueen). And yes, they were Pantone's colours of the year too.
These guys certainly knew how to entertain their guests with camel rides, fire eaters, belly dancers and a traditional Joujouka band who travelled in especially from the Rif mountains.
Thanks so much to Ali and Ian for letting me share their beautiful day at Villa Dinari, Marrakesh. An unforgettable day was had by all...
Fairytale Weddings | The Launch Party
Remember, remember the 1st September; fairytales, music and (lots of) prosecco...
Yes it was just over two weeks ago when the fabulous ladies at Fairytale Weddings opened their AMAZING new bridal boutique and we were lucky enough to be there for launch night.
Moving from their previous home at The Old Chapel, the girls have gone big with a beautiful, spacious new venue at Bell Plantation in Towcester. The extra space feels amazing and really gives the gowns room to flourish, in fact I'm quite envious of the lucky brides who will get to experience finding The One in such luxurious surroundings.
Daisy, Amy and Martha are the three sisters who manage the shop on a day to day basis, not forgetting their lovely mum Kay. I first got to know the girls a few years ago when organising a photoshoot and it's great to see them get to call this amazing location their own.
As expected, the girls laid on a fantastic evening with live music, displays from Maison des Macaron and of course our friend Miss Clemmie. Despite partaking in a few celebratory glasses of bubbly, I did manage to get a few snaps...
Congratulations on your beautiful new shop ladies!
To see if Daisy & Co. are stocking the wedding dress of your dreams, pop over and see for yourself at: Bell Plantation, Towcester, NN12 6GX or head over here to their website... I guarantee wedding dress shopping will never be more fun...
