Alysha & Liam | Barton Hall | Northamptonshire

Last month I had the absolute pleasure of photographing the beautiful wedding of Alysha and Liam at the gorgeous Barton Hall in the Northamptonshire countryside.

When your mum is one of the county's finest florists - The Flower Stylist, one thing is for sure - your wedding flowers are going to all kinds of amazing. Alysha had probably the biggest and most jaw dropping bridal bouquet I've seen featuring some stunning Coral Charm peonies, hydrangea, ranunculus, David Austin roses and pretty anemones. To compliment Alysha's bouquet, there were perfectly bloomed peonies displayed in cloches, flower garlands galore, fresh lavender bursting from the drawers of the sweet table and the initials of the couple made in tiny roses (made by the bride herself, no less!). If flowers are your thing, this wedding is definitely for you!

We were blessed with fabulous, sunny weather on the day, perfect for a beautiful English summer wedding. The orangery at Barton Hall glistened in the sunshine and Alysha looked stunning in her Mark Lesley gown, walking down the aisle with her father. The bridesmaids looked super stylish in Chi-Chi London and there were (fake but fab!) flamingos galore around the grounds on the day...

The styling of Barton Hall on the day was truly unprecedented and what makes it all the more amazing is Alysha, her mum Ann and her bridesmaids did it ALL themselves the night before! From the flowers, to the huge balloons, the beautiful centre pieces and the amazing little hand made 'drink me' favours. No detail was overlooked.

So many brilliant suppliers were involved in making this day one to remember, including an prize worthy cake by Lillibet Bakes with hand made, sugar crafted peonies to compliment the flowers of the day, make-up by the perfectionist that is Jo Tromans, stationery by White Cottage Weddings,  rings by the uber talented Bijoux JewelsHair by Lynddy and videography by the awesome Halford Films. All of Northamptonshire's finest, I'm sure you'll agree!

The VIP of the day was the fabulous Jimmy, the couple's beautiful French Bulldog who stole the limelight with his beautiful floral collar and was the sweetest page boy you ever did see...

Want to see more of Alysha & Liam's day? Our friend Halford Films was there - here's a little preview of the magic Ben captured on the day...

Mr. & Mrs. Molyneaux, thank you so much for letting me be a part of your big day, wishing you all the best for the future!

Published | Love My Dress | 2016

What a fabulous start to 2016 - our dark and glamorous winter shoot has been published not only in print but on the grandest wedding blog of them all, Love My Dress . Our friends at Image magazine dedicated a mighty 6 pages to two contrasting styled shoots and the editorial was also picked up by a newspaper.

It's always a great feeling to see your hard work and vision in print and we have so much more to come this year. With weddings in Ireland, the mountains of Morocco and Italy, I have a feeling 2016 is going to take some beating.

Whilst we're out of wedding season, myself and some of my friends in the industry are making good use of our time and have some fabulous stuff lined up that I cannot wait to share with you! Follow me on Facebook or Instagram to keep up to date with everything at TF HQ...

Ode To September

Unbelievably it's the end of September so before we step over to October I thought I'd give you a catch up on what I've been up to.

As this years wedding season slows down it means I have more time to work on some new, awesome styled shoots. I LOVE these things - the team that get together for them are some of the best wedding suppliers in Northamptonshire and we always have such a blast when we're together. It also means we can all get super creative and try out new styles and looks out.

Earlier this month, one of our recent shoots, The Secret Garden, was featured on one of my favourite blogs, So You're Getting Married. Thanks to Phoebe from SYGM for featuring this one, it's always great to see you're work published and appreciated by others in the industry. We were lucky to work with the most gorgeous Sophie Gibson, model extraordinaire as well as some names you'll recognise from previous shoots. The look was ethereal bride and was shot in, wait for it,  a secret garden and some beautiful woodland in the Northamptonshire countryside.

You can see the full feature on SYGM here. Ooh and now I have a lovely badge to feature on my website too!

I also ventured down to Hatfield Woods with the likes of Rosie Hardy, for a Fairytale inspired shoot. Hatfield Woods is an amazing place just outside of London and is a photographer's dream. The full post will be coming soon on this one but for now here are a couple of sneak peeks from the day...

Tim & Tasha | Twit & Twoo | Northamptonshire Wedding

The first time I met Tim & Tasha and heard their plans for their big day, I knew it was going to be one fantastic affair. The couple are both involved in musical theatre and their plan was to incorporate their love of all things melodic into their wedding and boy, did they achieve it! Not even the rain could stop this extravaganza of a day - think singing, high kicks and jazz hands and you'll be on the right track...

Emma & Joe | Buckinghamshire | English Countryside Wedding

Last month I had the honour of photographing the wedding of Emma & Joe in the Buckinghamshire countryside, and what a beautiful day it was.

When I first spoke to Emma she told me the story of how her and Joe met. Emma's originally from Essex and met her future husband whilst travelling in Australia and it was pretty much love at first sight. They both got back to the UK and it wasn't long before she'd packed up, said hooroo to Essex and started a new life with Joe in the country.

When you live on a beautiful farm with amazing views, you really don't have to go shopping for wedding venues - it's all (literally) on your doorstep. The ceremony was at the lovely St. Faith's church in Newton Longeville, a place that held a very special meaning for Joe as his grandparents got married there over 50 years ago.

Emma kept it elegantly simple in her stunning lace dress from Blue by Enzoani (from Fairytale Weddings) which she teamed with a beautiful veil trimmed with the matching lace. Not only did she look absolutely gorgeous but she was so relaxed all day, she made it a true delight to spend the day with her and her friends.

Congratulations Emma & Joe and thank you for letting me share your wonderful day with you... x

Tim and Tasha | Pre Wedding | Northamptonshire

Usually when you set off on a shoot you pray for the rain to hold back. Well when I went out with the lovely Tim & Tasha for their pre-wedding shoot we were all hoping for a few drops. You see, something very significant to them is a yellow umbrella. Any fans of How I Met Your Mother may understand the symbolism and how these guys should have met long before they actually did...

Thanks for a lovely afternoon guys and I am really looking forward to your big day...
